Currently, the Department of Management Studies offers MBA in various functional areas. The Department at present offers Dual specialization in five areas namely, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Human Resources and Information Technology. It is one of the management department in Nagpur which gives high importance to research. The Department responded to the need of the Indian Industry and derived satisfaction from its heavy field orientation in all its curriculum activity.

Department provide Indiividual student support from their tutors, assisting students with their academic studies and giving them the help they need to achieve great marks. Department also Focuses on a dedicated careers service that prioritises students employability, offering workshops, advice on writing CVs and cover letters, and presentations from successful business people. For their tutors, Department engaged in a diverse set of activities including teaching, industry consultancy, management development programs, academic research and public sector projects.
Aim
The MBA programme is spread over four semesters spanning two academic years. The first year, consisting of 20 compulsory courses, creates an orientation of the academic facet of management sciences and aims at establishing a strong conceptual foundation. It also introduces the contemporary techniques that form the toolbox in the study of management. The second year provides a comprehensive exposure to various functional areas of management in line with the overall career strategies of the students.
